Epidemiology and public health research involve studying the distribution and determinants of health-related events in populations, with the goal of preventing and managing diseases and injuries. Public health research uses epidemiological principles to address health problems and improve the health of communities. The focus is on improving the health of communities through evidence-based interventions, policies, and programs.

There is need for quality research in the field of Epidemiology. This division will support professionals to conduct quality research by imparting knowledge and developing tools to do that.
